About the Role

Our client is building a modern platform for software supply chain security, enabling organizations to gather, secure, and contextualize all SDLC data across their environments.

They are hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer — a rare, high-impact role at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. This is not a traditional Solutions Architect position. You will code daily, work directly with strategic enterprise customers, and shape both the product direction and this function itself.

As a founding member of this role, you'll help define how the company partners with its most demanding customers — often Fortune 500, financial institutions, and highly regulated organizations.

What You'll Do

• Write production code daily, primarily in Go

• Build fast proofs of concept (POCs) and production-ready integrations

• Implement complex CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitOps, and observability workflows
• Work hands-on inside customer environments to deploy and refine solutions

• Act as the technical bridge between customers and core engineering

• Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities early — before they escalate

• Feed real-world insights back into product strategy and roadmap

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years as a Senior / Staff Engineer, Architect, or equivalent

• Strong hands-on coding experience (Go strongly preferred)

• Experience supporting enterprise customers (Fortune 500, finance, government)

• Deep, practical understanding of modern software supply chains

• Experience with POCs, integrations, and production systems

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitOps, and observability tooling

• Excellent synchronous and asynchronous communication skills

• Calm, pragmatic, and effective under pressure

• Genuine interest in supply chain security and open-source ecosystems
